From September 4th to 7th and 11th to 14th (every Thursday to Sunday), Hopewell Centre will hold its first 'Mountain Festival · Drinking Tea and Coffee' market event, infusing the bustling city with a slow-living mountain vibe. More than 30 local specialty coffee brands will set up shop in the 3/F Atrium, offering a variety of drip bags, coffee beans, pour-over equipment, and more, allowing coffee enthusiasts to explore the nuances of aroma and indulge in a sensory feast.
Two 'Free Tasting' activities take turns to showcase, chilling and enjoying tea and coffee time with those who know how to appreciate the finer things in life
'Hopewell Afternoon Tea and Coffee' - Every Thursday to Friday (3:15 – 4:30pm) at the 3/F Atrium, present same-day Hopewell Circle consumption receipts to redeem a bottle of 'King of Tea' milk tea Or a cup of freshly brewed coffee from a selected local coffee shop, along with a Michelin Bib Gourmand-recommended 'Fishmonger' fish meat siomai, creating a Hong Kong-style afternoon tea experience. *The September 5th session is exclusively for Hopewell tenants' employees, who can redeem the afternoon tea with their staff ID.
'Hopewell Aperitif Hour' - Every Thursday to Friday (5:00 – 7:00pm) and Saturday to Sunday (4:30 – 6:00pm) at the 3/F Atrium, enjoy a complimentary cup of the world's first sugar-free coffee liqueur 'Light Ink' from the renowned Hong Kong brand 'Under the Banyan Tree', sweeping away the fatigue of work with a slight buzz and relishing in the post-work relaxation.

During the market event, more than 30 local coffee and dining brands will take turns to present their unique coffee beverages and creative dishes, offering surprising delights for the taste buds. The Japanese wooden-style coffee shop 'MINAMOTO COFFEE' introduces a summer-limited Affogato, featuring homemade scorched marshmallow cookies with vanilla ice cream, paired with their own roasted Italian espresso, a sweet and fragrant treat. 'TWIGGY COFFEE' offers a selection of five summer milk-topped iced coffees, blending coffee with fruity flavors for a refreshing taste. 'Limitless Coffee', a socially inclusive coffee shop managed by people with disabilities and seniors, showcases the nuances of coffee with their keen sense of smell, presenting an accessible flavor aesthetic. 'Starlight Kissaten Western Food', a Showa-style cafe, serves popular tamago pudding and a range of specialty drinks made with premium beans from around the world. 'Gary Kwok Flowers & Café', a floral-themed cafe, presents yeast-fermented cold brew coffee, enhancing the flavor profile and offering a novel experience for coffee enthusiasts.
Camping-themed photo zone to chill and listen to music with your furry friends, weekend-limited 'King of Tea' performance
The market event features a pet-friendly photo zone, meticulously decorated by the Japanese home brand NITORI in a camping style, showcasing a range of high-quality camping chairs, folding tables, and outdoor home products, allowing you to experience the therapeutic atmosphere of 'camping at home' in the heart of the city. Combined with the range of professional camping tents and hiking equipment offered by the sports goods store PROTREK, you can immerse yourself in the allure of mountain life all in one place. While children play with building blocks inside the tents, parents can leisurely enjoy their coffee, savoring the slow-living moments of family bonding.
Additionally, over 20 local music units will perform Busking, singing classic Cantonese songs from the 90s to the early 2000s, evoking collective memories. On September 6th and 7th (Saturday and Sunday), the champion barista of 'King of Tea' will demonstrate the art of brewing Hong Kong-style milk tea, showcasing the unique charm of this intangible cultural heritage. Free milk tea will be distributed on-site, inviting everyone to relish the traditional flavors unique to Hong Kong.

Three distinctive coffee workshops and seminars will open up the sensory and spiritual dimensions of the coffee world. Led by SCA-certified instructor Jeremy Chung, the 'Coffee Aroma Workshop' (September 6th, 1:00 pm) will guide you through the layers of coffee aromas and identification techniques. In the 'Mindful Coffee Zen' seminar (September 14th, 12:00 noon), instructor Lee En-lin combines psychology with coffee experiences, sharing how to practice mindful living through a cup of coffee.
